dc.description | En vid silvestre la semilla es el órgano más grande del fruto (Franco-Mora et al., 2012); por lo tanto, la búsqueda de alternativas tangibles para su uso, consecuentemente, fomentará la conservación de este recurso fitogenético (Franco y Cruz, 2012). En estas especies hay poco información sobre su potencial aprovechamiento, sin embargo, en V. vinifera la semilla es muy apreciada por su abundancia de compuestos polifenólicos, entre ellos flavonoides, catequinas, estilbenos y taninos; los cuales presentan alta actividad antioxidante, son cardioprotectores, antivirales, antibacterianos y brindan protección a rayos UV. | - |
