The aim of this study was to analyze international and domestic coffee prices and their relation to the income of small producers in Mexico. Coffee growing is a strategic activity both globally and in Mexico. In the country's production stands out for its social, economic and environmental importance, however, the coffee grounds are located in inaccessible areas, have large backlogs in basic infrastructure, a strong presence of people living in extreme poverty and 66.0% producers speak at least one indigenous language, this means for small coffee growers an activity that every time they generate less revenue, since in recent years the production of aromatic has decreased and prices have come down to the extent that many producers have migrated to big cities in search of better income.
