| dc.description | Este artículo pretende realizar una reflexión teórica respecto al origen y práctica de la medicina familiar en México desde el campo de la salud colectiva. Estos 2 elementos guardan entre sí una práctica social, la cual gira entorno al proceso salud enfermedad de la familia desde su origen y constitución como estructura social. Es aquí donde convergen de manera directa e indirecta los determinantes sociales que impactan en la realidad de la colectividad. La medicina familiar debe desarrollar una práctica médica social con análisis y critica en alianza con la salud colectiva, ya que actualmente está medicina familiar se vislumbra como una medicina biomédica hegemónica, rígida y sumisa. | - |

These 2 elements share a social practice, which revolves around the health-disease process of the family from its origin and constitution as a social structure. There is where the social determinants converge direct and indirectly to impact on the reality of the community. Family medicine should develop a social medical practice and critical analysis in alliance with the Collective Health, because currently this family medicine is seen as a hegemonic biomedical medicine, stuffy and submissive. | - |
