The paper aims to clarify some aspects of the concept of truth in the Austrian thought Ludwig Josef Johann Wittgenstein (1889-1951) and the Polish Alfred Tarski (1901-1983), at the same time pretends to highlight the importance of ontology as a constant logic that Makes possible the isomorphism between the structures of the triad: world, thought and language. Therefore, the work consists of three parts, the first one devoted to the analysis of a series of fundamental concepts to understand the conception of truth during different stages of Wittgenstein's thought to see the evolution of it along the so-called transition to the second Wittgenstein. The second part of this work, concerning Alfred Tarski's thinking, seeks a clear point of view about the importance of the development of various concepts for the study of truth, some of which also have a great impact on philosophy and linguistic analysis, such as metalanguage concept and its importance for being able to carry out the semantic analysis of the truth. The third section will correspond to the richest part of the work, because it is where it tries to link the thought of both authors, in addition is intended to outline the development of the concept of truth in the four planes mentioned above, and seeing the importance of the concepts treated in The first two chapters, as well as the role they play in this process of elucidating the concept of truth. It is in this same chapter that the need to resort to ontology as the fourth plane in this process is justified
